科室致力于尿道下裂发病机制及队列随访研究、肾母细胞瘤代谢组学研究等相关科研工作，承担国家自然科学基金2项、中国博士后基金1项，山东省自然科学基金及重点研发计划6项、山东大学国家辅助生殖与优生工程技术研究中心暨生殖内分泌教育部重点实验室开放课题1项，发表SCI论文50余篇，主编及参编著作10部，获专利2项。培养博士后、博士和硕士研究生20余名。

　　近3年（2021-2024），发表SCI文章18篇，中文核心期刊文章8篇；承担山东省自然科学基金面上项目2项；获得省级奖励1项（第十九届山东省医学会急危重病例诊治奖，三等奖）；参与编写小儿泌尿外科专业专家共识8项。
